Ponderosa pines, wide open spaces, and panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains are just a few of the reasons that people have been coming back for over 50 years now.

Towering burgers piled high with toppings, delicious fries, corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy all make this a stand out spot you'll want to pull over for.

Difficulty accessing the area, financial issues, and lack of repairs plagued the lodge from the start. At one point the ceiling and floors were sagging and the walls were ready to collapse! Thankfully this historic site was saved and repaired for future generations!
