Just a few miles north of Brookings and Harris Beach State Park on the coast is Oregon's highest bridge, and it's a sight to behold.

The Thomas Creek Bridge is 345 feet tall and stretches 956 feet across a deep ravine. The deck of the bridge is 30 feet wide.

This Warren Deck Truss was designed by Ivan D. Merchant, built in 1961 and is a favorite for visitors to Southern Oregon.

Some have base jumped from this bridge while others just enjoy the view of the coast from the deck or of the bridge from the beach below. Take a look at this aerial footage of the bridge:
