The story behind Batter Up! is as interesting as the food. John Robinson's culinary journey began with a craving for a sausage that somehow captured both the smoky goodness of bacon and the heartiness of breakfast sausage. With the help of John’s butcher brother and a home-grown recipe of herbs, spices, and freshly ground bacon, baconsausage was born. As luck would have it, right when John and Julie were working on their baconsausage, a cooking show featuring waffle sandwiches sparked an idea – and the couple knew they had their winning combo. They could serve baconsausage in a waffle sandwich!

Batter Up! Waffles And Waffle Sandwiches started out at a local farmer's market, moved up into a food cart, and finally graduated to a brick and mortar location in Beaverton that you can visit today.
