Ken's Artisan Pizza, a celebrated pizzeria from Portland, is expanding to Bend this November. The new spot will be located in the historic Downing Hotel building at 1033 NW Bond Street. Owner Peter Kost expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating, "We are thrilled to bring the authentic Ken's Artisan Pizza experience to Bend. The historic Downing Hotel building provides the perfect backdrop for our artisanal pizzas, and we look forward to becoming a part of this community."
Since its original opening in 2006 by Ken Forkish (James Beard Award winner), Ken's Artisan Pizza has become a staple in the Portland food scene.
Its Italian-inspired wood-fired pizzas, featuring slow-fermented dough, delicious Italian tomatoes, hand-stretched mozzarella, and other tasty toppings, make for a delicious dining experience.
