Come and celebrate the biggest party on the Oregon Coast at the Newport Seafood & Wine Festival this winter! For 48 years, this iconic event has brought together locals and visitors alike to savor the best seafood and finest wines the region has to offer.

Sample award-winning wines while indulging in fresh Pacific seafood, surrounded by live music, local artisans, and a festive atmosphere. Known as "The Original and Still the Best," this legendary festival is one of the largest of its kind in the nation and a must-experience event for food and wine lovers alike.

Newport Seafood & Wine Festival 2025 The Newport Seafood & Wine Festival has been a staple of the Oregon Coast since 1977. Each year, thousands of visitors flock to Newport, transforming this small coastal town into a bustling hub of celebration. Over four days, more than 150 vendors will set up shop under a massive festival tent near Rogue Brewery in South Beach, offering a dazzling array of wine, food, and artisan crafts.

Discover Our Coast

Originally conceived as a way to highlight Newport’s seafood industry and attract tourists during the slower winter months, the festival quickly grew into a beloved tradition. Local legend Mo Niemi of Mo’s Restaurant played a key role in expanding the event, introducing live music, wineries, and arts and crafts. Over the years, attendance has skyrocketed, and today, the festival is considered one of the premier winter events in Oregon.

One of the festival’s highlights is the Commercial Wine Competition, the longest-running wine competition in the Pacific Northwest. A panel of expert judges evaluates wines from participating vendors, awarding bronze, silver, and gold medals, as well as the prestigious Best in Show. Attendees can sample and purchase these medal-winning wines throughout the festival. For amateur winemakers, the festival also hosts the popular Amateur Wine Competition, where enthusiasts can showcase their own creations and receive expert feedback.
