Hey folks, get ready to celebrate Independence Day with a bang in Salem, Oregon! After a long wait, the 4th of July celebration is finally back and it's going to be bigger and better than ever before. This year, the event is moving to the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center and guess what? Admission is absolutely FREE!
Get ready to be dazzled by the Fireworks Spectacular, which promises to be a sight to behold. And that's not all! The 4th of July Spectacular will also feature a musical performance from the legendary Alabama with special guest Jessie Leigh at the L.B. Day Amphitheater. Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, April 14th at 10 a.m. on OregonStateFair.org.
Hungry? Thirsty? No problem! Carnival rides, food, and drinks will be available for purchase at the event. So, come with your friends, family, and lawn chairs to enjoy the show.
The City of Salem has gone the extra mile to ensure the safety of everyone, including the eagles! That's why this year's celebration has been moved to the Oregon State Fairgrounds, away from the eagle population along the Willamette River in downtown Salem. We respect our feathered friends and want to protect them.
So, mark your calendars and join us on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, at the Oregon State Fairgrounds and Exposition Center, 2330 17th St NE, Salem, OR 97301. Gates open at 3 p.m., and the VIP Pre-Party starts at 4 p.m. The Fireworks Spectacular kicks off at 10 p.m. and the event ends with a curfew at 11 p.m.
Parking is available for $10 for regular parking or $20 for VIP parking in approved Oregon State Fairgrounds parking lots. We discourage parking in nearby neighborhoods or businesses.
