U.S. — In a move hailed as “the greatest beverage innovation since Tang,” Crystal Stream announced today the release of their new limited-edition bottled water flavor, “From A Hose,” sending shockwaves of nostalgia through millions of Americans born in the 1980s.

The product promises to deliver the exact experience cherished by a generation who drank lukewarm water straight from sun-scorched rubber hoses, building both character and an immunity to at least six types of bacteria no one can identify anymore.

“We’re proud to capture that unique metallic tang, that faint rubber bouquet, and just a whisper of garden dirt,” said Crystal Stream marketing executive Kevin Mallard, who confirmed that each bottle is aged for exactly 12 hours inside a coil of authentic garden hose before shipping. “It’s not just water — it’s survival training in a bottle.”

Upon announcement, nostalgic 80s babies flooded social media with excitement, reminiscing about simpler times when a sip from a hose was considered both hydration and an acceptable substitute for parental supervision.

“I cracked open my first bottle and immediately got the urge to ride my bike without a helmet for six hours,” said 41-year-old Jason Miller, who also reported a sudden craving for Otter Pops and general distrust of seat belts.

Sources confirmed that early reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with customers praising the authentic notes of PVC, rust, and the faint, unexplainable hint of summer grass clippings.

Crystal Stream representatives hinted that other nostalgic flavors could be on the horizon, including “Metallic School Water Fountain,” “Pool Water with Just a Little Chlorine,” and “Mystery Kool-Aid From The Neighbor’s House.”

At press time, the company issued a formal apology after testing revealed the first few batches of “From A Hose” may have also accidentally included traces of Slip ‘N Slide runoff, making the product even more historically accurate.
