Trellis has been open since 2019 and Executive Chef Joseph Jackson (who just goes by “Chef Joe”) along with Pastry Chef Caydee Porter always uses fresh, local ingredients from around the Pacific Northwest, and loves changing up the menu to highlight seasonal produce. They’re open every day for both lunch and dinner, and you simply can’t go wrong ordering!

To start, try the Baked Brie appetizer that’s topped with chimichurri and served with fresh rosemary focaccia, or the insanely popular Duck Confit Salad made with a crispy duck leg, sliced apples, candied walnuts and rogue creamery blue cheese crumbles with pinot noir cherry vinaigrette.

For main entrees, you can keep it simple with one of the perfectly crafted sandwiches. Favorites include the French Dip made with roast beef, havarti, pinot noir braised onions, mama lil’s peppers, horseradish aioli and spicy dijonaise on a hoagie roll, or the Short Rib Sandwich that packed with slow braised beef short ribs, havarti, fresh greens, pinot noir braised onions and horseradish aioli on a potato bun.

Other great entrees to try are the Clam Linguine made with leeks, garlic, pancetta, bread crumbs and a creamy white wine broth, or the Steak Frites that comes with a 12 ounce black angus ribeye served with crispy salt and pepper fries, rogue creamery smokey blue cheese and a demi-glace. The dessert menu is always changing, but if you can get your hands on their Creme Brulee, you won’t be disappointed!

Sitting in the picturesque town of Dundee among sprawling vineyards, Trellis also boasts a phenomenal wine cellar where they have over 250 varieties to choose from including local vintages and options from around the globe. You can order wine by the glass, by the bottle, or try a “Sample the Valley” wine flight that will take you on a journey through some of the Willamette Valley’s best wines. They also offer local beers on tap and an inventive cocktail menu. There’s a great happy hour that happens Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 where you can get 50% off all drinks!

Trellis offers takeout orders and reservations which can be done online or by calling the restaurant directly. Plus, they have catering services available both on- and off-site where your entire party can enjoy a tailored menu and dishes made in Trellis’ traveling wood-fire oven. They even started a Trellis pop-up food truck this summer that was stationed at the Archery Summit winery serving wood-fired focaccia pizza with seasonal and local toppings, giving loyal customers even more opportunities to enjoy Trellis’ great food!
