Currently, the Drift Creek Falls Trailhead is only accessible from the northern entrance off Highway 18. The southern route, which many hikers might be familiar with, is closed due to logging activities. This closure is expected to last until October 2024.

For those eager to explore this picturesque trail, the northern entrance remains open and provides the same unforgettable experience. The trail winds through a vibrant forest, where towering trees and the sounds of nature accompany you every step of the way. The highlight of the hike is the suspension bridge, offering panoramic views of the cascading waterfall below—a perfect spot for photos or simply soaking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Explore Lincoln City

To avoid any disappointment on your next adventure, make sure to plan your route accordingly and head in from the north. Drift Creek Falls is a must-see destination for nature lovers, and with this update, you can enjoy your hike without any unexpected detours.
