I’ll be the first to admit it—I’m obsessed with street tacos. Located in a building that used to house a Papa John’s on Main Street, Tacos Pirekua has taken that long-vacant space and filled it with vibrant flavors, incredible tacos, and a menu that keeps locals coming back for more.

Tacos Pirekua has built a reputation with its extensive menu of perfectly seasoned meats, offering up taco fillings like carne asada, pollo, pastor, barbacoa, and more. Vegetarians have plenty of options too, including sautéed cactus and veggie burritos.

The space sat vacant for years before it was transformed into this taco haven. They’re open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and are closed on Mondays, so plan your visit accordingly.
