There are certain restaurants that become part of a town’s identity. Not just places you grab dinner, but places woven into memories. Since 1978, Track Town Pizza has been one of those places in Eugene.
Now, that same old school, community rooted pizza joint has officially opened a brand new location in Thurston.
For decades, locals have packed into the Franklin Boulevard spot near the University of Oregon. Athletes, Ducks fans, families, and hungry college students have all gathered under walls lined with photos of track legends and hometown heroes. The smell of fresh dough baking, tomato sauce simmering, and cheese bubbling in the oven has been part of Eugene’s soundtrack for nearly fifty years.

And now, Thurston has its own slice of that history.

The space sits inside the Joyce A. Langeliers Center in the heart of Thurston, bringing the Track Town legacy directly into Springfield neighborhoods that have supported the restaurant for years.
Locals in Thurston have long been within delivery range, but there is something different about having a neighborhood spot you can walk into. A place where kids can celebrate after games. Where families can gather around a big table. Where you can smell the pizza the moment you open the door.
Same Championship Menu, New Neighborhood
If you know Track Town Pizza, you know the menu reads like a tribute to Oregon’s athletic heritage.
The Olympian loads up pepperoni, sausage, black olives, mushrooms, and fresh Parmesan. The Decathlon stacks Canadian bacon, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, green peppers, red onions, olives, ground beef, and sausage in what feels like a full roster of flavor. The Taco Pizza remains a fan favorite with refried beans, enchilada sauce, seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and chips.

Chicken lovers still have their pick of Garlic Chicken, BBQ Chicken, and Buffalo Chicken. Vegetarian options like the Florentine and Mediterranean hold their own with bold combinations of spinach, feta, roasted garlic, pesto, and sun dried tomatoes.
At the original Eugene location, the beloved weekday lunch buffet continues to be one of the best deals in town, running Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
More Than Just Pizza
Track Town Pizza has never been about trends. It has been about consistency.
Handmade dough. Sauce crafted in house. Fresh toppings. An old school salad bar. Draft beer. Televisions playing the game. Walls that celebrate local athletes and community pride.
It is the kind of place where generations overlap. Parents who once came in as college students now bring their kids. Teams gather after meets. Neighbors linger a little longer than they planned.
The Thurston location brings that same energy east, making it easier than ever for Springfield families to create their own traditions.

Nearly five decades after opening its doors, Track Town Pizza continues to grow without losing what made it special in the first place.
Thurston now has its own neighborhood slice of Track Town history.
And if the scent of fresh baked crust drifting across A Street is any indication, it is already feeling right at home.
