The No. 1 Oregon Ducks defeated the No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions, 45-37, in an electrifying Big Ten Championship Game, clinching the title in their first season as Big Ten members. The victory capped a historic 13-0 season, the first undefeated campaign in program history. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel led the charge, later stating, "Far from over... We have a lot more to go," emphasizing the team’s determination as they set their sights on the College Football Playoff.

The game was a back-and-forth battle, with Penn State pushing the Ducks to the limit. Oregon’s defense came through in the clutch, highlighted by Nikko Reed’s late interception that sealed the game in the final minutes. On offense, Dillon Gabriel connected with key playmakers like Tez Johnson and Terrance Ferguson, while running back Jordan James powered through with crucial touchdowns, including a pivotal fourth-quarter drive that drained the clock and widened the lead.

Head coach Dan Lanning praised his team’s resilience and execution against a tough Penn State squad led by quarterback Drew Allar and a strong defensive front. With a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff secured, the Ducks now focus on the ultimate goal: bringing a national championship back to Eugene. Go Ducks!
