Family Searching For Missing 15-Year-Old Last Seen In Springfield Sunday Morning

A Springfield, Oregon family is asking for the public’s help in locating 15-year-old Alexa Ausmus, who was reported missing to the Springfield Police Department after she was last seen Sunday morning.

According to information shared publicly by a family friend, Alexa was last seen near 30th Street in Springfield on May 11, 2026, at approximately 7 a.m. Loved ones say she may be a runaway and noted that she is currently AWOL from her military school.

Alexa is described as 5-foot-1 and approximately 105 pounds with dark shoulder-length hair.

Family and friends are urging anyone in the Eugene-Springfield area who may have seen Alexa or knows where she may be staying to come forward and help spread the word as concern grows for her safety.

Anyone with information about Alexa Ausmus or her whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Springfield Police Department.
