If you are spending the day around Haystack Rock, start with the Cannon Beach filter: the Wayfarer offers a sit-down seafood meal, Bill’s is a tavern choice downtown, and Lazy Susan is a small breakfast cafe. The wider list is for a different kind of day. Pick Seaside for seafood takeout or a family dinner, Warrenton for breakfast before Fort Stevens, and Astoria for fish and chips from a converted boat. Oney’s and Camp 18 belong to the Highway 26 leg of your trip, not a walkable Cannon Beach food crawl.
This directory starts in Cannon Beach and includes nearby Clatsop County communities within roughly 30 miles. Seaside, Warrenton, Astoria, and Elsie are separate stops, not Cannon Beach neighborhoods. The radius is a planning boundary, not a promise of a 30-mile drive: road distances and travel times vary, especially on the coastal highways.

Oney’s is a pizza stop in Elsie; Camp 18 pairs a substantial meal with a logging-history setting nearby. Neither is on the beach. Use the community label rather than a Seaside postal address when working out your route.
Summer traffic and weekend queues can turn a nearby restaurant into a longer outing. Bowpicker specifically flags weather-related closures. Check the business’s current information before a special drive, and have a second option in the same town.
Family-friendly is a meal-planning cue, not a guarantee about high chairs, changing tables, or every seating area. Check accessibility, dietary needs, group reservations, and any age restrictions directly with the restaurant.
Small towns count
Gearhart, Arch Cape, Surf Pines, and the Hammond area remain on our nearby coverage checklist. Tolovana is part of Cannon Beach rather than a separate town filter. We add cards when substantive TOL reporting supports them, not simply to fill every community. Manzanita, Nehalem, and Wheeler are in Tillamook County and are outside this Clatsop County edition; this is not a directory for the entire North Coast.
The list is not ranked and is not an exhaustive census of local restaurants. Bell Buoy’s seafood market and restaurant share one card. Elsie businesses can have Seaside mailing addresses; their community labels here describe the inland stop you will actually visit.
