Tree houses go hand and hand with Oregon. As Oregon is one of the greenest states ever, you should expect a few tree houses to pop up. I've written about a few Oregon tree houses you can stay in but I'm not sure I've seen one as unique as this one.

The designer behind the tree house is Saul Zaik. Saul has designed some extremely unique and incredible mid-century modern homes in his career.

What makes this 1971 home extra spectacular, is the fact that it's held up by a 67 foot tall mast of a World War II era ship, the USS O'Hara.

The lower level of this home was designed as a guest suite and includes a bedroom with a queen bed, a private bath, and a sitting room designed for relaxing. There are also mini-decks and a shared laundry room.
