There’s nothing quite like eating fresh seafood when you’re at the beach, and if you’re on the southern Oregon coast you should head straight to Pacific Sushi and Grill! Here you’ll find some of the highest quality, sustainably sourced seafood in Oregon, and a restaurant that uses local and organic ingredients whenever possible. The team at Pacific Sushi only uses fresh fish and pride themselves on their personal relationships with the fishermen and suppliers they work with.

Pacific Sushi has been going strong since 2014 and was started by Michael Horgan, who previously worked as a commercial fisherman so he knows the ins and outs of the trade like no other. Horgan still enjoys taking himself and his employees out on his fishing boat then using the fresh fish they catch that same day in the restaurant. Together with his head chef and business partner, Christian Snyder, they’ve managed to make a name for themselves up and down the coast for their farm-to-table approach that’s been working for the last ten years.

Everything here is made from scratch and this includes their ramen broth, sauces and seasonings, and you can see their commitment to the food in every plate that goes out. They even have one employee whose only job is making rice all day! The plates are all works of art and taste just as good as they look. On the menu you'll find a little bit of everything from your classic, traditional sushi rolls and nigiri to Tonkotsu ramen, ribeye steak, fresh salads and burgers.

Some of their most popular signature rolls include the “Albacore Sunrise” made with mango, cucumber, avocado, then topped with local albacore, thinly sliced lime, masago, ponzu and scallions, the “Bruce Lee” which starts with an extra spicy salmon roll, tempura fried and topped with scallions, fire roasted jalapenos, dynamite and sriracha sauce, or the “Redwood Roll” that has tempura prawns, real crab, avocado and scallions, and is topped with fresh ahi tuna. Or take a chance with the Chef’s Choice sashimi dish and you’ll be wowed by flavors you’d never expect. They also have tons of delicious vegetarian options as well.

But fresh seafood isn’t all they have! Pacific Sushi and Grill is also known for their perfectly cooked steaks or their crowd-pleasing Pacific Burger made with over a ½ pound of Oregon Wagyu beef charbroiled and served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle and served with fries. They also have great lunch options like bento boxes or sushi combos that come with a salad and miso soup.

While dining in their warm and inviting dining room, you can also order one of their specialty, Japanese-inspired cocktails, or sip on one of their many imported Japanese whiskies (with some really top shelf choices for the whisky connoisseurs out there).
