LAS VEGAS — Our heart is breaking tonight as we are reporting yet another tragic mass shooting, which reportedly started around 10:42 pm when shots were fired near Mandalay Bay Hotel in Vegas.

Multiple victims on the Las Vegas Strip have been transported to hospitals late Sunday, during  Route 91 Harvest Festival, a country music event. According to some reports, there may have been two active shooters at the scene.

The LA Times is confirming 2 deaths, with 24 others injured. Some reports via Twitter have suggested there have been multiple causalities. University Medical Center spokeswoman Danita Cohen said the Las Vegas hospital is taking in “several” people with gunshot wounds. She didn’t have any more immediate information.

Las Vegas Police are asking to not livestream or share tactical positions of their officers on scene, as they may put responders in danger.

According to witnesses, country singer Jason Aldean was playing near the end of the concert when the gunfire started. At this time, there is no further information available.
