Learn By Doing: Connecting Through Adventure

Learn by Doing is your opportunity to get out into campus, nature or the community, get to know other new students, and learn while you’re doing it! No matter which Learn by Doing experience you choose, you’ll make memories and build new connections to Beaver Nation.

At the OSU Challenge Course, students will build connections through ground-based activities and high course elements, choosing their level of challenge and encouraging each other through new experiences. Students will enjoy a meal with their peers at the end of the program out at our Challenge Course.

Learn by Doing experiences are open to new incoming first-year and transfer students. For fall 2026, experiences run between Sept. 18 and Nov. 4

To join an experience, visit beav.es/lxd and register through Ideal Logic.
