I can't think of a better way to start off a day antiquing than with coffee and a hearty breakfast. The Naked Lemon is the perfect place to grab coffee and a pastry or other sweet treat to go. If you're looking for a slower start to your day and are looking forward to relaxing and chatting as you have a bite to eat, head to Broder Strand Café for mocha, eggs benedict, killer Danish pancakes, and other Scandinavian inspired dishes.

After you've had breakfast, it's time to start your antiquing expedition with a two floor antique mall on Marine Drive. Phog Bounders features over fifty dealers, each with their own booth full of treasures to look through.

Each booth is arranged and decorated to show off the personality of the person who curated the display.

Phog Bounders is more organized than many other antique stores in Oregon. It feels less hodge-podge and more curated, which leads to a better browsing experience. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable, so if you have questions about an item, they'll be there to help.

When you go, be sure to check out the basement for hidden finds. The basement is a less curated experience, but there are some cool vintage pieces there that you won't want to miss.

Historical Astoria, Oregon is full of awesome places to eat and things to do. After shopping at Phog Bounders, you'll want to grab lunch at Bridgewater Bistro, or Masquerade Food And Drink. Bridgewater Bistro serves up good food, and has water views and a cozy coastal vibe. If you're looking for cocktails and killer sandwiches, head to The Hidden Underground Experience to Masquerade Food And Drink.

Stop Two On Our Treasure Hunt - Reclamation Marketplace

After lunch and cocktails, you may want to walk through some of the other interesting antique stores that Astoria has to offer. Reclamation Marketplace is a 2,500 square foot store with art, antiques, clothing, and cool vintage pieces. It's definitely worth stopping at, and you're bound to find at least one unique piece that you love.

Stop Three On Our Treasure Hunt - Vintage Hardware

Vintage Hardware is another cool store, selling antique furniture and building supplies like drawer pulls and door knobs, as well as other antiques. Stopping off at this store will make you want to buy a historic house in Astoria and restore it to it's golden days.

Other Things You May Want To Do On Your Antiquing Trip To Astoria

If you're staying for two or three days, or want something different to do in the afternoon after a day of antiquing, you may want to check out the Oregon Film Museum which is open from 10 AM - 4 PM daily (5 PM in the summer). There you can learn about TV shows and movies produced in Oregon, like Animal House, The Shining, Pay It Forward, The Postman, The Goonies, and so many more. The museum itself was a set for three movies: The Goonies, Come See the Paradise, and Short Circuit.

Astoria, Oregon Fun Fact: West of the Rockies, Astoria is the oldest permanent American settlement.

The Columbia River Maritime Museum is another option for learning the local history of Astoria and is part of the Lewis And Clark Trail Experience. It's open daily from 9:30 AM - 5 PM, closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

Another great option to end your day with is making the 23 minute drive over to Warrenton to check out the wreck of the Peter Iredale, or to watch the sunset. If you want to see the wreck, be sure to check the tide tables and go at low tide.

For an overnight stay, Oregon's Cannery Pier Hotel And Spa has awesome river views, and a nice hot tub overlooking the pier. Guests also have the chance to use the authentic Finnish Sauna. Relaxing in a hot tub with pretty views sounds like an amazing way to end a day out antiquing and enjoying historic Astoria, Oregon.
