OHN DAY – A John Day woman, Hannah Pereira, has been missing since late August, and her family is increasingly worried for her safety. Originally reported by Elkhorn Media, Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley confirmed that while Pereira has been reported missing, she cannot be entered into the national missing persons database due to multiple active warrants for her arrest.
Hannah’s sister, Brooklynne Pereira, expressed deep concern, fearing her sister may have been harmed or injured. Brooklynne emphasized that Hannah has not reached out to anyone she typically would, heightening the family’s anxiety.
Hannah Pereira has three active warrants, with two involving C Felony charges. She also failed to appear in court on September 16th, which means if she is arrested or found in Oregon or neighboring states, she would be taken back to Grant County.
Brooklynne pleads for her sister to make contact with the family and just let them know she is safe. Anyone who has seen or heard from Hannah is urged to contact Grant County dispatch at (541) 575-0195 or encourage her to reach out to her loved ones immediately.
In an effort to bring Hannah home, it is crucial to share this information across social media. Every share could help spread awareness and increase the chances of finding her.
Hannah Rain Pereira is described as follows:
- Hazel eyes
- Approximately 105 pounds
- About 5 feet tall
- Last seen in John Day, Oregon
Note: Hannah’s sister mentioned that her appearance may have changed; she could have shorter hair or a shaved head and may be wearing a beanie or wig.
Please spread the word and help reunite a family in search of their loved one.
