Juicy burgers, crispy fries, and milkshakes made with ice cream right here from Oregon. There's nothing fancy about K & R drive in, but there doesn't need to be when you get the basics right, and boy do they have it right! If the burgers don't win you over, then the forty flavors of rich Umpqua ice cream will. This is one drive-in you don't want to miss when driving through Rice Hill, Oregon.

Tucked between Cottage Grove and Roseburg on I-5, Rice Hill is easy to miss, but taking Exit 148 will reveal one of southern Oregon's best hidden burger spots. K & R Drive-In has been serving up fresh delicious bites since 1970, and it's still family-run to this day.

At K & R, everything’s made fresh, there's no frozen patties here. Their classic hamburger comes piled with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a tangy homemade thousand island dressing, all on a toasted bun. For something extra delicious order up a bacon cheeseburger and a side of steak fries.

If fries aren't your thing, how about some deep fried pickles? Jalapeno poppers and crispy onion rings will also hit the spot and make for a great snack. A lot of people stop in just for some fries and a shake. It’s comfort food at its finest, the kind of thing that satisfies after a long drive or road trip.

If you're not sure which one to get, consider the butterscotch shake, which gets rave reviews for its rich, nostalgic flavor that keeps people coming back for more.
