I have to admit I've never seen a campfire quite as efficient as this, described by former biology teacher turned outdoor enthusiast and YouTuber Bob Hansler. How many times have you camped on a cold night only to be jolted awake by the frigid air because your fire went out?

With this brilliant setup, we could all be sitting on our butts while the fire feeds itself! This self-feeding fire is said to even withstand a pretty good rain, which is obviously important if you are camping in Oregon.

Watch the video yourself and learn how to build this fire which will burn to 14 hours.

I definitely would like to try it out on my next camping trip. If you found this article and video please make sure and share it with your friends and family!
