McMenamins is turning up the vibes and the cannabinoids this August with the launch of two brand new THC infused seltzers, available now at their Oregon locations.
The legendary Pacific Northwest chain, known for transforming historic buildings into beloved pubs, hotels, and movie theaters, debuted the drinks as part of their Days Between celebration, an annual tribute to the late Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead. Garcia, who would have turned 83 on August 1, passed away on August 9, 1995. The event runs through August 9.
Sip on Something Psychedelic
The two new drinks are:
Jam Session – A sugar free, citrusy sipper with 2mg of THC and 10mg of CBD
Trippy Tiger – A tropical blend of pineapple, passionfruit, and guava, with 5mg of THC and 10mg of CBD
Crafted by McMenamins’ own brewery and winery teams, the seltzers offer a light, mellow experience designed to enhance your hangout without knocking you off your barstool.

Both are served in 12 ounce cans. While all McMenamins locations are participating in the Grateful Dead themed food and drink specials, only Oregon customers can legally enjoy the THC beverages.
Oregon’s Growing Taste for THC
McMenamins is the latest local name to jump into the THC beverage scene. Last summer, the Portland Pickles baseball team began selling hemp derived THC seltzers at their games. Because Oregon allows certain hemp derived products with less than 0.3 percent THC, these beverages are legal even under public cannabis consumption bans.
The THC seltzers will be available while supplies last during the Days Between tribute. With specials like the Sloppy Jerry sandwich, Further Fries, and Days Between IPA, it is the perfect excuse to raise a can in Garcia’s honor.
