Love In-N-Out burger, but not into driving to Salem, Medford, Grants Pass, or California for your fix? Fear not, NW-residing Oregonians: a new location may be in the works and it's not far from Portland.

According to Tualitin Life, the California-based burger chain is in the early permit stages of developing a new restaurant on land previously occupied by The Villiage Inn, right across from Bridgeport Villiage.

Early concerns include the glut of traffic In-N-Out is sure to bring to an already congested area. Since opening a location in Keizer more than seven months ago, cars still wrap around the drive-thru in excess of 45 minute wait times.

Tualitin city leaders will be virtual-meeting with In-N-Out executives this week in order to determine the best building strategy and discuss the application for what would be a 3,885 sq. foot restaurant with drive-thru service and outdoor seating.

Stay tuned, Oregon....
