Gas Prices Hit 4 Year Low Across America But Oregon Is Stuck Near 4 Dollars A Gallon

While the rest of the country is cruising into Labor Day with the cheapest gas they’ve seen in four years, Oregon drivers are still stuck paying nearly $4 a gallon according to The Oregonian — and it’s only getting worse.

The U.S. average? A cool $3.13 per gallon. Oregon? $3.98 and climbing. That’s right — while everyone else is filling up and bragging about Trump’s “energy dominance,” we’re once again being left holding the (empty) gas can.

According to The Oregonian, Oregon now has the fourth-highest gas prices in the entire nation, right behind the usual suspects: California, Hawaii, and Washington. Translation: If you live in the Pacific Northwest, you’re being punished just for existing.

Oh, and it gets better. Lawmakers in Salem are already circling like vultures, planning to tack on another 6 cents per gallon with a shiny new gas tax hike “to fund transportation projects.” Because obviously, what Oregonians need right now is even higher prices.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is patting itself on the back, telling Fox News this is the lowest Labor Day gas prices since 2020. Which is technically true — unless you happen to live here. Then it just feels like the state government siphoned your wallet along with your fuel tank.
