We've got some good news just in time for the summer hiking season: Butte Creek Falls is about to re-open after being closed since 2020 due to wildfires! We love hiking, waterfalls, and forest bathing in general, so we're beyond excited to bring this news to you....

Update 4/29/19: We discovered yesterday on our hike to Butte Creek Falls, the original route to get here is now blocked off by Weyerhaeuser. You can still take Crooked Finger Road, although you are looking at an additional hike just over 2 miles down a gravel road...
