Chick-fil-A is doubling down on its Oregon presence with plans to open six new locally owned and operated restaurants across the state by early 2027, creating more than 600 new jobs. Following a busy summer opening in Lake Oswego, the next wave of growth begins Thursday, October 9, when two new restaurants officially open for business in Sherwood and Corvallis.
This marks another big step for Chick-fil-A’s investment in the Beaver State, which already includes 14 restaurants and a decade of service to Oregon communities. By the time the expansion is complete, residents can look forward to additional locations in Cornelius, Portland, Tigard, and Wood Village. Each restaurant is owned by a local operator who lives and works in their community, part of the company’s focus on hometown entrepreneurship and hands-on leadership.
The new openings are part of Chick-fil-A’s ongoing commitment to community involvement in Oregon. Since 2017, the company has awarded more than $681,000 in scholarships to its team members through the Remarkable Futures program. Local restaurants have donated more than 353,000 surplus meals to food banks and shelters across the state, while Oregon nonprofits have received over $255,000 in grants through the True Inspiration Awards. The company has also contributed more than $250,000 to Feeding America partners serving Oregon families in need.
Chick-fil-A’s West Region Area Director, Scott Stover, said Oregon’s combination of natural beauty, community spirit, and pioneering energy makes it an ideal place to continue investing. “Our local Owner-Operators have enjoyed the privilege of serving Oregonians for nearly a decade,” Stover said. “As we open more restaurants across the state, including our first in the city of Portland, we look forward to supporting Guests, Team Members, and vibrant communities all across Oregon.”
To celebrate the openings this week, Chick-fil-A is offering one free entrée to anyone who shows up wearing cow print on October 9. The offer can be redeemed in-store or in the drive-thru and includes fan favorites like the classic Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Nuggets, or breakfast options such as the Chicken Biscuit and Chick-n-Minis. Both new locations will also participate in the Shared Table program, which donates surplus food to local shelters and community organizations.
