Public Urged to Aid Oregon City Police in Search for Missing Endangered Teen

UPDATE: Just before 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, police reported that Shoop had been found and taken back into protective custody. No other details were released.

In Oregon City, Oregon, the local police department is actively searching for a 13-year-old boy who is considered to be in danger after running away.

The young boy, identified as Tyler Shoop, was last spotted at Clackamette Park on the evening of December 20, around 10:30 p.m.

According to police reports, Tyler departed from the park on a scooter, accompanied by another young person whose identity remains unknown. It's important to note that Tyler has certain health issues that necessitate regular medication.

Describing Tyler, he's a young white male, standing at 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. He was last seen dressed in a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black flat-billed hat. His choice of transportation was a "Stunt Scooter."
