It’s been nearly a year ago since the popular fast food chain In-N-Out Burger, which started in California, announced they would be setting up shop in the Salem/Keizer area. The new restaurant will be located at the Keizer Station, which you can find just off Interstate 5.

The new In-N-Out will be their closest to the Portland metro area. Keizer, a city of about 38,000 people, is just north of Salem.

“Oregon is considered a new market for In-N-Out,” project manager Kori Seki previously told KATU. “The City of Keizer will be the third. It will serve as a new entry benchmark into Portland and other metropolitan areas with its presence and brand recognition.”

If you can’t wait for the new spot to open and want to grab a burger from In-N-Out, for now, you can check them out in both Grants Pass, and Medford, Oregon. Both locations are close to I-5. I recently had a chance to drop in and try one of their burgers for the first time! The burgers were on point and cooked fresh.

In-N-Out began in 1948 in Baldwin Park, a suburb of Los Angeles. They now have more than 300 locations in six states — California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Texas. Have you eaten at In-N-Out? Where do you think they will open their next location? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
