In-N-Out Burger — a California fast food chain with a secret menu and cult following, recently confirmed with KOIN 6 News that construction for their 3rd location in Oregon will start in June.
The New In-N-Out is slated to open in Keizer, which of course will be their closest to the Portland metro area. Keizer, a city of about 38,000 people, is just north of Salem. We are going to assume there will be a lot of Portland folks visiting when they open.
The planning director hopes to pull their permits on June 5, and shortly after construction will begin. As reported in December, the proposed address is 6280 Keizer Station Boulevard NE. The official news was shared by an assistant planner with the city of Keizer, Dina Russell.
For the time being, if you want to grab a burger from In-N-Out you can check them out in both Grants Pass, and Medford, Oregon. Both locations are close to I-5. Or of course, drive to California, where they started, if you are up for a road trip! In-N-Out began in 1948 in Baldwin Park, a suburb of Los Angeles. They now have more than 300 locations in six states — California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Texas.
