Oregon Is The Best Place To Live In America. Here’s Proof.

Recently there was a post over at Huffington Post, showing off 13 places that make Oregon the most stunning state in America. Well I was born here and I will probably die here. I’ve been a lot of places all over this country, and I have to agree that yeah.. I don’t want to live anywhere else.

While the article touched on some beautiful places, I felt it was barely scratching the surface. So I spent a lot of time hand picking some incredible photos on Instagram, and put together some of the most amazing photos I could find in Oregon. Thanks to all these awesome people who took these!

⠀ Today’s photo comes from: @ryanfield__ ⠀ A stunning photo of #TumaloFalls, 13 miles west of Bend. The falls is a 97-foot waterfall located on Tumalo Creek in the Cascade range. Additional waterfalls are upstream along Tumalo Creek and a tributary, Bridge Creek. Besides the waterfall views, the day-use area has picnic sites and offers access to trails for hiking and mountain biking. Ryan’s feed is full of variety, you might not know what he’ll post next but his work showcases Oregon in new lights. With 345 followers Ryan is my selection for #BofO1k so be sure to tag your friends that have less than 1k followers because I’m looking for those up and coming photographers to feature. Remember new and old photos welcome so keep tagging! Thanks for sharing @ryanfield__! ⠀ Chosen by curator: @visual_perspectivist ⠀ Tag your Oregon photos/videos #BestOfOregon and #BofO1k (if you have under 1K followers) for a chance to be featured and click the light blue (or gray) link above the picture to see more photos and the location.
