My name is Alex Lockwood and I love Oregon. One of my favorite things about living in Oregon is that we are just a short drive away from a wide variety of fun outdoor activities and amazing natural beauty.
I am a native Oregonian and I grew up in the countryside just outside of Sandy, Oregon nestled between Mt. Hood and Portland. Growing up, we owned a few different family businesses over the years and by the time I made it to high school age I was working four jobs; the family business, weekends on a dairy farm, summers bucking hay for Geren’s Farm Supply & Nuts On Sport Pizza off Highway 26 in Boring, Oregon. From shoveling cow manure and bucking hay to making pizza and taking inventory for the family business, I’ve done it all. Growing up, there never seemed to be a shortage of work, which is how I developed the strong work ethic I have today. Although it was difficult and times, we made the best of the situation. In fact, many of the opportunities I’ve had would have never happened without hard work or a little sacrifice.
