These are a fun way to get some more protein and nutrients in your diet. You can have so much variety with them. Here at Bliss Nut Butters we start with our basic recipe, (Chia recipe card) and then go from there. Often times we will add a little fresh vegetables that were juiced. Or even a powdered greens. Or if you need to add a little extra Protein, add a scoop full of your favorite protein powder.
Keep it fresh! We often switch different fruits and vegetables for the bases, and add in more superfoods, like gogi berries and golden flax seeds. Omit the Banana and add an Avocado. I know it may sound odd but it makes it even more creamy and delicious.Berries are a huge win too, as they have lower level of fructose (fruit sugars) than most other fruits.
